An illegal alien convicted of shockingly barbaric crimes has been deported to her home country of Brazil, according to authorities.
On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the recent removal of Lenaria Aparecida Pereira Sandoval following her apprehension in the sanctuary state of Massachusetts.
Sandoval was lawfully admitted to the United States in December of 2015 in Orlando, FL, presumably after flying into the country.
She then violated the terms of her admission but apparently remained in the U.S. for nearly a decade.
“On Sept. 21, 2021, a Brazilian court convicted Sandoval in absentia for aggravated first-degree murder, desecration of a corpse and theft of a motor vehicle,” ICE explained in a press release.
Sandoval was sentenced to 17 years in prison and Brazilian authorities issued a warrant for her arrest.
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston finally arrested Sandoval in February of 2023 and served her with a notice to appear before a federal immigration judge who ordered her deported on Aug. 27, 2024.
On Mar. 27, 2025, Sandoval was flown to Brazil and turned over to local authorities.

“Lenaria Aparecida Pereira Sandoval committed some horrifying crimes in her native country and then attempted to evade justice by hiding out in our Massachusetts community,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston acting Field Office Director Patricia H. Hyde.
“Now she will be forced to face justice for the crimes she committed. We will not allow New England to become a refuge for the world’s bad actors. ICE Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien offenders from our neighborhoods.”
