Border Czar Tom Homan said the Trump administration’s pledge to snuff out transnational cartels won’t be limited to Mexico, claiming the U.S. military will hunt them down wherever they operate across the globe.
In a Friday appearance on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Homan said the Trump administrations is ramping up its crusade against the cartels as they attempt to adapt to President Trump’s policy changes along the southern border.
“They’re going maritime. We knew they would, that’s why we’ve increased Coast Guard three times, three time more than we have in the past. Coast Guard will answer that call so we’re going to shut them down maritime, too,” Homan said.
BREAKING: Tom Homan just revealed that President Trump has tripled Coast Guard patrols to deal with the cartels and also that the military will attack the cartels in the 43 countries they're operating in.

“We’re going to put them out of business. President Trump designated them criminal terrorist organizations, which they should be. They’ve killed more Americans than every terrorist organization in this world combined. President Trump will end up wiping them off the face of the earth.”
“You put them out of business, you take their money away, they can’t bribe Mexican officials, they can’t bribe anybody. Without money, they have no power.”
“We’re not just going to attack in Mexico, the Jalisco cartel. We’re going to attack them in the 43 countries they have operations currently. We’re going to attack them worldwide,” Homan said.
Trump on Thursday designated eight Latin American cartels as terrorist organizations, including Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua and El Salvador’s MS-13 gangs, as well as the six Mexico-based cartels: Sinaloa, Jalisco New Generation, Gulf, Northeast, La Nueva Familia Michoacana, and United.
In response, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum proposed changing her country’s constitution to essentially protect drug cartels from U.S. military strikes.
Sheinbaum said Articles 19 and 40 of the constitution would be changed to prevent investigations or military actions by foreign entities without the express permission of the Mexican government.
