Comedian Bill Maher and conservative commentator Charlie Kirk discussed a slew of political topics during a recent podcast, including the controversy surrounding biological males participating in female sports.
While the duo disagreed on several topics, they both believe Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot by refusing to budge and continuing to support “trans women” playing in girls’ athletics.
“Of all the low-lying fruit that the Democrats just like hand the Republicans to win elections, that’s the one,” Maher said.
Kirk mocked the left for being unable to “surrender on this one issue” when the masses overwhelmingly oppose the notion of men competing against women.
While the pair agreed on the topic of trans people infiltrating female sports, they did not see eye to eye about some people being born in the wrong body.
Bill Maher is shocked to find out that Charlie Kirk does not believe anyone is born in the wrong body.

Charlie Kirk: âI believe that tr-nsgenderism is a mental disorder.â
Bill Maher: âSo you donât think any people are born âin the wrong body?ââ
Charlie Kirk: âNo.â

Regarding the woke far-left, Maher claimed they hate him more than Kirk because “they hate their own apostates.”
âIâm supposed to get on the short bus to crazy town with themâand I wonât,” he said.
What started as a typical podcast on Club Random quickly turned into something way more revealing. @charliekirk11 and Bill Maher werenât clashing on everythingâthey were connecting over one uncomfortable truth: the woke cult is tearing the country apart.

Kirk and Maher also talked at length about Christianity, from the Ten Commandments to homosexuality.
Charlie Kirk: âDo you think, even as an atheist, the Ten Commandments â the right side of the Ten Commandments â is a good place to start?â

Bill Maher: âBut lie with another man, that should be everyoneâs right, donât you think?â
Charlie Kirk: âI, as a Christian, do not believe that would be holy; I think it would be sinful.â

Asked if he hopes deep down that Heaven exists and he’s wrong about Christianity, Maher dodged the question and said he hopes scientists figure out a way to make humans immortal.
âI hope they figure out how I can live forever. I like it here, with you, Charlie, drinking this, and smoking pot. Iâm having a great time. I really canât imagine it better,” he answered.

Despite the fact that Maher was drinking and smoking pot while Kirk practiced sobriety, Charlie said he thinks Bill should be allowed to get inebriated while stopping short of advocating for the legalization of marijuana.

The biggest argument of the conversation focused on illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia of El Salvador, who was recently deported by the Trump administration.
Maher alleged the Trump administration “did not present evidence” that the illegal alien is an MS-13 gang member.
Kirk noted MS-13 is labeled a terrorist organization and that regardless of whether or not he is a member of the gang, the illegal was violating the law by living in America.

Overall, the conversation serves as a good example of Americans with opposing viewpoints engaging in peaceful dialogue while seeking truth.
