Democrat California Governor and likely 2028 presidential candidate Gavin Newsom signed a $2.8 billion bailout Monday in an attempt to help the state’s massive Medicaid program deficit after expanding coverage last year to include coverage for illegal immigrants.
Instead of accepting his failure and removing illegal aliens, many of whom are violent criminals, from accessing the state’s Medi-Cal healthcare system, the corrupt politician is begging for U.S. citizens to fork over more tax dollars to assist their invader neighbors.
The $2.8 billion request comes just a week after a $3.4 billion loan was issued, making the total Medicaid deficit a whopping $6.2 billion.
The bailout would only prop up the failing state program through June of this year, meaning taxpayers will only be asked to spend more money a few months down the road.
Newsom told reporters this week, “The realities are the realities. You have to balance budgets, we balance our budget. Revenue is holding up. I don’t see anything significant along the lines of what some have asserted but I do see the need to make adjustments and changes broadly in the Medicaid system.”
Perhaps, the governor should stop spending so much time on his podcast and preparing for a presidential run.
The rapid destruction of California will serve as an example of why Newsom IS NOT qualified to lead America when he inevitably puts his hat in the ring for the 2028 election.
