A large number of foreign criminals with more than 600 convictions were deported in under two weeks by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Houston, including a Mexican illegal with nearly 40 prior removals.
On Thursday, ICE issued a press release detailing significant efforts to remove dangerous illegals from Southeast Texas.
Between March 17 – 28, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston deported 174 criminal aliens to Mexico, at least 24 of whom were known gang members.
The deportees had collectively accumulated 610 criminal convictions and 415 prior removals.
One Mexican national, a 36-year-old male with convictions for DWI, dangerous drugs, and fraud, had illegally entered the U.S. at least 39 times.
Other illegal aliens with extensive deportation histories included a dangerous Florencia 13 gang member who has been removed from the U.S. eight times, and a 50-year-old Mexican male with 13 deportations and 25 criminal convictions – many for violent offenses.
Among the 174 aliens were murderers (2), child sex predators (5), rapists and sexual offenders (4), human smugglers (22), drug traffickers, and a horde of drunk drivers – one of whom had eight DWI convictions.

“This is just a small snapshot of the amazing work that the brave men and women at ICE do every day to enhance public safety in Southeast Texas,” said ICE ERO Houston Field Office Director Bret Bradford.

More than 100,000 illegals have been deported since President Trump took office in January, many of whom had criminal records in the U.S.
