Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy showed up at a Steak ‘n Shake restaurant Tuesday following the company’s transition to beef tallow frying oil.

Appearing at a restaurant in Florida with Fox News host Sean Hannity, RFK discussed Steak ‘n Shake’s elimination of inflammatory seed oils in favor of natural 100% beef tallow.

“Steak ‘n Shake just switched out, and people are raving about these french fries,” Kennedy told Hannity, adding, “It’s a completely different experience.”

“The customers are raving about it,” RFK added, saying he was “very grateful to them for RFKing the french fries.”

The HHS Secretary also discussed Americans having the freedom to choose what foods they want to eat, but said they should be fully informed of the foods they’re consuming.

Additionally, he spoke to Hannity about the depression rates, anti-depression medications, and how diet contributes to illness.

At another point, RFK turned down a milkshake brought to him by an employee.

The fast-food chain announced it switched over to “tallow fries” at stores in Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma last month, and promised by March 1 all locations would have tallow fries.

RFK has previously slammed seed oils for contributing to America’s illness epidemic.
