A pro-life Christian organization called MayDay USA held a concert in Seattle, Washington’s Cal Anderson Park over the weekend, specifically calling for American children to be protected from being indoctrinated by the transgender movement.
Hundreds of Antifa activists, many of them members of the LGBT community, descended upon the gathering where they assaulted attendees, shouted obscenities and fought with police officers.
Turning Point USA Frontlines reporters captured the chaotic scene on camera.
Law enforcement kept the opposing factions apart as the far-left side called them “pigs” and attempted to cross the police lines.
23 demonstrators were arrested for illegal activities during the event with a judge later releasing seven of the individuals.

The Democrat Mayor of Seattle, Bruce Harrell, issued a statement regarding the concert and arrests where he labeled the event a “far-right rally.”
Harrell also accused the Christian group of trying “to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”
The mayor then ordered the city’s parks department to explain why a permit was granted for the concert and launched an investigation into the response of the police department.
“I am grateful for those who make their voices heard in support of our neighbors without resorting to violence. In the face of an extreme right-wing national effort to attack our trans and LGBTQ+ communities, Seattle will continue to stand unwavering in our embrace of diversity, love for our neighbors, and commitment to justice and fairness,” Mayor Harrell wrote.
Trump administration Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice Harmeet Dhillon posted on 𝕏 about the incident, writing, “To deny a group a permit to pray in a public space because of crowd reaction is the classic heckler’s veto, which is barred by the First Amendment. Seattle’s Mayor clearly needs an education in viewpoint discrimination.”
One of the pastors associated with the concert, Russell Johnson, called for Mayor Harrell to either apologize for his statement or resign, announcing a rally in front of the Seattle City Hall on Tuesday.
Democrat policies and politicians are destroying America’s cities more and more with every day they remain in power.
