President Donald Trump spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, where he broke down the bold moves his administration has taken to dismantle the Deep State and restore American greatness in the first month of his second term.
“We’re removing all of the unnecessary and competent and corrupt bureaucrats from the federal workforce,” Trump said.
“That’s what we’re doing. And under the buyouts we offered federal employees, more than 75,000 federal bureaucrats, think of that, have voluntarily agreed to surrender their taxpayer-funded jobs.”
Trump also lauded his “all-star team” of “warriors” who’ve been confirmed to his Cabinet and noted surge in support he and the Republicans have seen since the Democrats have lurched to the far-left in recent years under Joe Biden.
“Our party has become the proud voice of hard-working citizens of every race, religion color and creed, and I think one of the main reasons — not that we are conservative or anything — [is] we are the party of common sense. It’s about common sense,” Trump said.
“Over the past month, we’ve confirmed an all-star team of warriors, patriots, visionaries who put the America First agenda into action,” he added.
